Scottish Bakers Rebrands their Training Services as National Food and Drink Training

Scottish Bakers is delighted to announce that its training services across the UK will be branded as National Food & Drink Training.  This is in recognition of the wide range of qualifications and apprenticeships currently available.

National Food and Drink Training (NFDT) has been the training provider of choice for the Craft Bakers Association for the last five years and will continue to be so, as well as diversifying into other areas of food and drink manufacturing.

Alan Clarke, Chief Executive, Scottish Bakers, said: “We have a long established association with the CBA in terms of comprehensive training provision for its members, and we hope to continue this following our rebrand to National Food and Drink Training.

“We have over 20 years' experience of delivering qualifications and apprenticeships for craft, plant and production bakers and the funding of training in England is changing but we currently have funded places available for CBA members who wish to qualify their workforce to national standards, certificated by City & Guilds.”

NFDT can train new or existing employees, offering a range of food and drink qualifications, including food manufacture, craft bakery, retail bakery and Food Manufacturing Excellence.

NFDT Training Advisors provide tailor made on-the-job learning and assessment ensuring that we provide effective work based learning at a time that suits your business and your employees, whether it’s day shift, night shift, back shift or split shifts.
